Qualifications:

I have a PHD/MS in biostatistics and a BA in mathematics from UCLA. I also am Professor, Biostatistics in the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health where I have served for more than 46 years.

Experience:

I have been a part of more than 50 depositions and court hearings and have testified in both Federal and State courts on a number of occasions. I have worked on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. Cases have included healthcare fraud, patent infringement, product liability and injury, stock market price manipulation and clinical trial interpretation. I am able to testify on the use of sampling methods and sample size determination from small and large databases, the appropriateness of statistical methods, the design of experiments and the interpretation of data evaluations in various environments including clinical research trials
