Experience:
Rob has extensive experience interpreting toxicology findings in criminal, coronial, family, civil, regulatory and wider medicolegal matters. He specialises in cases where drug, alcohol or poisoning results require more than simple reporting, including questions of impairment, timing, causation, post-mortem interpretation, prescribed and non-prescribed drug use, hair strand drug testing, novel psychoactive substances, synthetic opioids, benzodiazepines and complex laboratory findings.
Rob provides independent expert opinion to solicitors, coroners, legal teams and organisations. His work focuses on explaining what toxicology evidence can safely support, what it cannot support, and what further information may be required before reliable conclusions can be drawn. He can assist with preliminary case review, report scoping, review of existing toxicology reports, and full expert witness reports.
