The expert has held senior-level roles within the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry, including work at Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO), widely recognised as the largest insurance service organisation in the United States. During his tenure, he was responsible for developing classifications, rating formulas, policy forms, and endorsements used across the industry. He also served as an Assistant Insurance Commissioner, providing regulatory oversight and insight into compliance with state laws and insurance regulations.

With over 50 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry, the expert has worked extensively across Personal Lines, Commercial Property, and Commercial Casualty sectors. He has held leadership responsibility for government and industry relations for an organisation generating in excess of $2 billion in annual premiums. His experience also includes work on Managing General Agent (MGA) programmes insured through Lloyd's of London.
He has been retained in more than 95 cases, deposed in approximately 90 of those matters, and has provided testimony in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitration proceedings. His casework spans a wide range of complex insurance disputes and coverage issues.
