Professor of Thoracic Medical Oncology and Physician Scientist, currently serving as Director of the Leicester Mesothelioma Research Programme and Director of Thoracic Oncology Services Limited. Widely recognised as the world’s leading expert on mesothelioma by research citation, with an international reputation in thoracic malignancies.
Over 20 years’ experience as a medicolegal expert in thoracic cancers, particularly mesothelioma, providing authoritative opinions in complex and high-value litigation.
Former President of the International Mesothelioma Interest Group and Past Chair of the National Cancer Research Institute Mesothelioma Subgroup. Currently Chair of the UK Collaborative for Clinical Cancer Research (Mesothelioma). Co-author of national and international mesothelioma guidelines for the European Society for Medical Oncology, the British Thoracic Society, and the European Respiratory Society.
