Mark is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 25 years’ experience in delivering construction projects up to a value of £20m. Mark heads up the Building Surveying team supporting a wide variety of clients. His time has been split between management duties, preparing PQQ/ITT bids and quotes and undertaking building surveying projects within his areas of expertise.
Mark regularly undertakes party wall commissions and undertakes building pathology and dilapidations work and is a member of Adair’s dispute team providing technical expert witness services.

Experience:
Mark has worked extensively in the social housing sector working for Local Authorities and Housing Associations, and has vast experience in the commercial, private residential, educational and industrial sectors.
Prior to joining Adair, Mark worked for several organisations of varying size including Atkins for four years working on a wide variety of projects across multiple sectors. He subsequently worked for Brodie Plant Goddard, a firm of Architects and Building Surveyors achieving the position of Associate Director over a ten-year period providing a broad range of professional practice and project work. This led to a six-year period at Potter Raper working on several large Frameworks providing a wide range of professional consultancy services to his clients.
Mark has significant experience in providing project management, contract administration and employers agent roles for refurbishment and extension projects.
