Dr Mazhar Chaudri has been a Consultant Respiratory Physician at Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley since April 2004. He is the Trust lung cancer lead and Clinical Director the Dudley Lung Cancer Screening programme. He has a special interest in interventional procedures such as bronchoscopy, EBUS, medical thoracoscopy and indwelling pleural catheter insertion and management.

Experience:

Dr Chaudri achieved the Cardiff University Bond Solon Expert Witness Certificate (CUBS) in 2018 and undertakes instructions as an expert witness, including the preparation of medico-legal reports and giving evidence in court, in cases related to a wide range of respiratory disorders. He used to sit on the British Thoracic Society Specialist Advisory Group on Interventional Procedures, which provides expert opinion to NICE, amongst others. He used to undertake Lung Cancer peer review on behalf of NHS England and NHS Improvement.
