- Prepares around 100 expert witness reports per year (65% claimant, 25% defendant, 10% joint), covering fast-track proceedings and intermediate/multi-track proceedings in relation to catastrophic injury/events
- Primarily receives instructions in relation to Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence cases; occasionally undertaking Immigration, Employment, and Child/Family assessments
-​ Meticulous, robust, balanced, evidence-based, comprehensive assessments that meet the demands of complex legal cases
- Known for delivering clear, robust, high-quality reports and oral evidence to assist the court effectively, with complete adherence to Part 35 requirements

-​ Assessment of children, adolescents, and adults
- Assessments conducted in-person in Yorkshire and nearby counties, London, and Scotland + remote assessments

- Happy to informally discuss potential instructions
- Can assess and report with tight turnaround times if needed

- HCPC-registered Consultant Clinical Psychologist and medico-legal expert specialising in psychological trauma, medical psychology such as chronic pain, and clinical risk including risk to self, to others, and from others
- Chair of the British Psychological Society's Expert Witness Advisory Group, which provides guidance on professional standards and good practice for psychologists undertaking expert witness work
- Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Glasgow
- Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society

- Over two decades of clinical experience
- Specialised in working with trauma/adversity-related mental health problems/disorders, adjustment and the psychological aspects of chronic pain, and clinical risk (risk to self, risk to others, risk from others) since 2012
- Worked as a Clinical Psychologist in an Occupational Health service, and in services for traumatically bereaved children, adult amputees, veterans, and with a wide range of trauma-exposed populations in the largest psychological trauma service in the UK
