Qualifications:

I hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Birmingham and a Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I also completed an MPhil in Orthodontic Research at the University of Birmingham, alongside a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching.
To support my medico-legal practice, I’ve completed structured expert witness training with Bond Solon, including Excellence in Report Writing, Courtroom Skills, and an Introduction to Civil Procedures.

Experience:

I’m a Specialist Orthodontist with nearly two decades of experience in both NHS and private practice. I currently practise at Bupa Dental Care in Derby, having previously held specialist roles at multiple practices including Good Smiles Dental, My Dentist, and JDRM Dental Care.
Earlier in my career, I worked as a Clinical Lecturer and Specialist Registrar at Birmingham Dental School, where I was involved in both clinical supervision and academic research.
Since January 2023, I’ve been producing medico-legal reports in the field of orthodontics, focusing particularly on clinical negligence matters.
