I provide expert witness reports in the fields of diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology. My areas of expertise include:
Interpretation of brain and spine imaging (MRI, CT, angiography)
Assessment of cerebrovascular disorders, including stroke, aneurysms, and AVMs
Neuroradiological imaging relevant to head injury, spinal trauma, and neurological symptoms
Image-guided procedures and minimally invasive therapies
Evaluation of diagnostic delay, misinterpretation, and standard of radiological care
I accept instructions for both clinical negligence and personal injury cases, and I am happy to act for claimants, defendants, or as a single joint expert. My reports are clear, evidenced, and compliant with current Civil Procedure Rules. All enquiries are handled by my medico-legal secretary, with responses provided within one business hour.

Qualifications:
I qualified with an MBBS from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine in 2012, having also completed an Intercalated BSc in Biomaterials Science with First Class Honours in 2009. I went on to earn Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2018.
I hold both the European Diploma in Neuroradiology (ESNR) and the ECMINT Diploma (European Course in Minimally Invasive Neurological Therapy), awarded in 2023.
To support my medico-legal work, I’ve completed expert witness training with Bond Solon, including Excellence in Report Writing and Introduction to Civil Procedures. I’ve also undertaken Irish Systems Legal Training via The Expert Witness Site Masterclass in 2024.

Experience:
I am a Consultant in Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, where I’ve held this post since January 2022. Prior to this, I completed a dedicated Fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology at the same institution between 2018 and 2021.
My training in Clinical Radiology took place at the Northern School of Radiology (ST1–ST3), following completion of my Foundation Years within the North West London Deanery. These rotations included General Practice, A&E, Medicine, Orthogeriatrics, Gastroenterology and Vascular Surgery.
I have a strong academic background, with multiple prizes including the Gordon Gryspeerdt Prize and the CSF Leak Association Award. I was also selected for the prestigious EYMINT Fellowship Programme in 2021.
I currently contribute to national and European working groups, including the National Spontaneous Intracranial Hypotension Guidance and ESMINT’s Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Ethics Committee.
