Experience:

Dr. Steve Albrecht has worked as an expert witness since 1998. He has qualified as an expert in sexual harassment in federal court. In 1994, he co-wrote one of the first business books on workplace violence. He has interviewed three workplace violence murderers in prison. He is nationally known for his books, articles, podcasts, training programs, and conference keynote speeches on workplace violence, domestic violence, school violence, workplace security, risk management, sexual harassment, substance abuse in the workplace, and library security.

His 26 books include works on workplace violence, leadership, crisis management, workplace security, police officer safety and tactics, and firearms.

He worked for the San Diego Police Department for 15 years, first as a fulltime officer and a Domestic Violence Unit investigator, and later as a reserve sergeant. He is based in Springfield, MO.
