For the past twenty-nine years I have been a free-lance consultant, author, lecturer and broadcaster in my fields of expertise. I am the author of over seventy refereed scientific publications and around sixty books on horticulture, natural history and related subjects including several standard works of reference. I am the author of several thousand newspaper and magazine features published over the past thirty-seven years. I have presented or contributed to over 2000 radio and television programmes.
I have twenty-nine years experience as an expert witness under Civil and Criminal Rules guidelines in the fields of horticulture (commercial and domestic), garden design, botany, mycology, microbiology, algology and plant pathology including court appearance and have undertaken single expert witness training.
