Owners of property that are susceptible to attack from termite and other timber pests have long sought an independant consultancy service that can diagnose an infestation back to its probable cause, provide a qualified consultancy following an outbreak or failure of a termite treatment, Expert opinions on termite claims, pesticides, technical support, competency assessment, training and representation in court.

Areas of Expertise:
In his 33 years experience, Chris Langley has been qualified in all facets of pest control. He was part of the research team for 5 years that promoted changes to termite management in the early 90's and instigated use of detection devices such as the moisture meter and optical borescope, now widely employed by industry.

Establishing in south-east Queensland for the past 5 years and being T.A.F.E. qualified to Cert. III Pest Management and Cert. IV Training and Assessment, Chris holds a current Qld. Pest Controller Licence no: 11219 and also teaches for Qld. T.A.F.E. He has co-wrote the Qld. OLI course on Timber Pests and while being based at the Gold Coast, has consulted in other states and overseas on termite problems.

Fully licensed and qualified in all aspects of termite biology, technical support, training and assessment, has given Chris a unique position within the pest control industry to provide Expertise and Consultancy services to the public and is a current consultant service provider to the Building Services Authority, Licence no: 79664 carried out investigation reports for dispute notifications against termite inspections and treatments.

Additional Services: Associated timber pests can include borers, wood decay and problems with related dampness. Holding a Building contractor licence no: 79664 for Waterproofing allows Chris to consult on various waterproofing and other dampness matters.
