Pierre Cremieux, a Managing Principal of Analysis Group, is an expert in industrial organization, health economics, antitrust, quantitative methods, and labor economics. He has consulted to numerous clients in the U.S. and Canada, including law firms, corporations, and government agencies and testified in jury and bench trials as well as arbitrations and administrative proceedings.
His work in antitrust litigation has included the analysis of damages in some of the largest antitrust cases brought forth in the last few years in the United States in the high tech, vitamins, pharmaceuticals, retail foods, automotive, and chemicals industries. He has extensive experience both as a testifying expert and managing teams of economists and statisticians assisting other testifying experts in all aspects of litigation including class certification, assessment of liability, and quantification of damages.
Dr Cremieux has also served as an expert in both litigation and non-litigation matters on health care related issues including product liability and mass tort, drug efficacy, drug cost-effectiveness, hospital performance, the quality and cost of care, and the medical and workplace costs associated with various illnesses. In labor economics, he has evaluated proposed collective bargaining agreements, statistically evaluated allegations of discriminatory practices and calculated lost earnings associated with termination, alleged discriminatory practices and abuse. Dr. Cremieux has also been involved in the calculation of damages due to brand name disparagement, the probability analysis of bank failure, and calculation of damages in large 10b-5 cases.
His scientific research has been published in numerous peer-reviewed academic journals. He has also published articles in legal and business publications, and has frequently presented at leading legal, health care litigation, and economics seminars where he has addressed such topics as antitrust and class certification in the both the U.S. and Canada.
Prior to joining Analysis Group in 1997, he spent five years as a Professor at the University of Québec at Montréal where he still serves as an adjunct professor and continues to publish actively as well as receive academic grants.
